Singapore International Water Week
The Singapore International Water Week is a premier annual water event that focuses on best practices, successful case studies and practical applications of water innovation and technologies.

It is an event for senior government officials, top industry leaders, leading water specialists and practitioners to meet and discuss policies, business solutions and water technologies. Comprising the Water Leaders Summit, Water Convention and Water Expo, it culminates in the presentation of the Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize, an international award to recognise outstanding contributions in solving water issues.


Sharing Session – Healthy Cities for a Sustainable Future
The sharing session is organised in conjunction with the World Cities Summit to engage respective government agencies, non-government agencies, and mayors to be more effectively involved in health promotion efforts so as to build “healthy communities” within their districts/cities/countries.

WHO Healthy Cities Approach
Successful programmes that healthy cities in other countries have implemented
key roles played by Mayors and government agencies in healthy cities

Global Behavioral Economics Forum
   
The Gallup Organization will be hosting its inaugural Global Behavioral Economics Forum in Singapore on 26 June 2008 at the Singapore’s Marina Mandarin Hotel. It will be held in conjunction with the World Cities Summit.
The 1-day forum will explore how human behavior shapes, influences and plays a pivotal role in growing successful and sustainable organizations, cities & economies. The forum will focus on how Behavioral Economics can positively impact policy making, city planning, society building, engaged citizenry, and brain gain at the national and city level. It aims to provide both the public and private sector leaders the opportunity to be connected to the global conversation on the topic of Behavioral Economics.

Forum participants will get to meet and learn from the best thinkers and practitioners in this new field. Critical links between behavior and economics will be explored, presented and discussed.
